If you didn’t know, ALL of the beans that we use to make tempeh are 100% GMO free, Organic, and USA Grown.  When in season our soybeans come from Mr. John McEntire, owner and operator of Peaceful Valley Farms in Old Fort, NC.   Mr. McEntire practices organic growing methods, and only uses seed that is 100% GMO-free.  He went from growing 2 acres of soybeans last year 2010, to planting and harvesting 11 acres in 2011 in order to supply our ever-growing demand for a quality, local source of soybeans.
